The Early Education Program
http://www.earlyeducationprogram.orgOur mission is to work together with families to prepare preschoolers of ALL abilities to succeed in kindergarten and beyond. The Early Education Program (EEP) is Lane County's largest specialized preschool serving more than 200 children ages two to five. We serve 165 children with special needs, including autism, ADHD and other developmental delays, right alongside 40 typically developing children. Ninety percent of our children are considered at-risk for school failure and two thirds of our children live in poverty. EEP is a private non-profit since 1981, now with 19 neighborhood classrooms serving families in Creswell, Veneta, Junction City, Eugene and Springfield. In addition, we are in year 3 of a United Way funded Preschool Promise grant which funds 3 pre-K classrooms of typically developing kids.
