Opportunity Details
ToolBox Project tool librarian
Tool librarians are the heart of the ToolBox Project tool library - they lend tools to members for home, garden and other DIY projects. As a tool librarian you'll help check in and check out tools, keep the space organized and attractive, and make sure our tool inventory is safe and ready for the next borrowers. You don't need to be a tool expert for this position, but you'll certainly end up learning a lot about tools and how your neighbors use them! There are always at least two library volunteers on site to help run the operation when it's open.
We're open Tuesdays and Thursdays 5pm - 7pm and Saturdays 9am - 12n. There are two ~two hour volunteer shifts on Saturdays.
Tool librarians receive membership and access to tools.
Age Minimum (with Adult): 16+, Minimum Age:18+, Court Ordered Volunteer - Allowed
